This is a "real farmers" farmers market. Usually 35 or more farmers can be found each Saturday morning in this Light Rail parking lot selling their in season fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, flowers, oils, plants, meat and other farm products.  The operating organization is dedicated to preserving the local California family farm and has been operating Certified Farmers' Markets in Sacramento County since 1980. Farmers must only sell what they themselves have grown on their California farm.  It's one of the best farmers markets in the area, come out and get some shopping done and hear some great music before it heats up.
