We look forward to playing the First and Third Thursday concert series at the Haggin all year. This is wonderful venue and a gem of a museum. Come early, see the museum (there will be a guitar exhibit), have some wine and cheese at 6:30 then relax and enjoy the show. Oh yes, you'll want to go down and see the museum store, it's got lots of great stuff, so leave time for shopping.
Included with regular admission to the museum, Adults $8, Seniors $7, Youths $5, Children free
New with some of the best of old, folky with roots, punch, and occasionally grassy; largely acoustic but sometimes feels electric; Tamara Phelan’s music is the very definition of Americana. Notable for killer harmonies and poetic yet down to earth lyrics, there will never be any question as to where this musician-singer-songwriter grew up. These songs are a distillation of life in America - all parts of it. Behind those great harmonies are Tamara on the four-string tenor guitar, Steve McLane on the six-string guitar and Ken Rabiroff on bass. She's no slave to genre and never boring, the total effect is a great listen.
